Clubbing in London on a Saturday night

Guys and girls wanting to get out and about on a Saturday night are in luck! London has so much to offer, for all tastes! If you want to make it a night to remember, go large and pull an all-nighter, you simply can’t go past London’s epic nightclub and electronic music scene scene. Let’s tell you about a couple of my personal favourites.

I’d like to start with Ministry of Sound (Mos), London’s number one nightclub located a three minute walk from Elephant and Castle station in London’s south. This place boasts three dance floors and three large bars and has seen industry legends such as Tiesto, Paul Oakenfold and Pete Tong in the main room. Drinks are at standard prices, however there is a entry fee and you may need to line up at times to get in. Trust me, it’s well worth the wait. When you’re inside you can’t help but be infected by the energy of the place. Put it this way, recently I was able to convince an indie rock fan to come along with me and he loved the experience! Music will vary from room to room but all the superstars tend to play in the Box. Another thing I love about MoS is the fact that there is no strict dress code. That means you are able to be comfortable and express your own unique style in what you decide to wear. A major plus in my books!

Another noteworthy inclusion is Fabric, as London’s second most popular nightclub. You’re looking at around a £15-20 entry for a Saturday night. The rooms were mainly playing techno when I visited and you can easily get swept away with the progression of the night’s tracks. One other thing, the place doesn’t close until around 2pm the next day. You read that correctly. So for you absolute party animals out there you won’t have to suffer hearing that dreaded ‘last track of the night’ just when you’re starting to enjoy yourself (happens all the time to me...). No more wondering where to go next, you can simply and party on, and on. Everyone in the club seemed friendly and chatty to even over the epic amount of volume glorious bass in that place! Great night out and well worth a look if you love your electonic music.

In short, if you’re looking to take your night out to that next level, you simply can’t go past two of London’s most established and popular nightclubs: Ministry of Sound or Fabric. Give them a go, and even if you’re not a electronic music fanatic, keep an open mind and you might be pleasantly surprised!
