Where To Go Out on Monday Nights in Amsterdam

The best way to cure Monday blues is... to go out again! Monday is generally an off-night all around the world (unless you're in, say, Ibiza), and that's not an exception in Amsterdam.

However, there are regular parties and venues that you can hit up if you're just visiting Amsterdam during the week or if you're a local.

Cheeky Monday @ Winston / Melkweg

Drum & Bass enthusiasts CANNOT miss this event. Cheeky Monday is a drum & bass event concept that's been running since 2002... Reinventing the definition of Monday nightlife scene. For a niche event to survive so many years on a Monday night, you know it has to be really good.

Cheeky Monday has been at the Winston in the Red Light District, but from November onwards, Cheeky Monday upgrades to a larger location, Melkweg. Come dance with your fellow clubheads until early Tuesday morning.

Hanneke's Boom

For a chill Monday night out, hit up this waterside bar right next to the Central Station. You get a great view out onto the waterways and at the NEMO museum, which is inspired by a cruise ship!

Cold out? Don't worry, there's also a cozy indoor part of the bar with a nice furnace.

Kuma @ Sugar Factory

Sugar Factory, conveniently located right off of Leidseplein, is one of Amsterdam's most intimate venues to party at. Expect House, Disco, and Afro-Beat all night long to liven up gloomy Monday evenings.

Paradiso is one of the few venues in Amsterdam with events on almost every night of the week. It's a historic live music venue in the city. So, if you're ever in the mood to go out, even on a Monday night you can find quality live music events from a range of genres.
